Case Study 1 — Specialty Cafe Group

From One Outlet to a Multi-Location Supply Agreement

Challenge

A specialty coffee group operating across five Singapore locations needed a single bakery partner capable of supplying differentiated items to each outlet — on different days, with different SKUs — while maintaining consistent flavour and presentation. Their previous supplier was unreliable on large-volume Fridays and had no halal-adjacent option for their Tanjong Pagar outlet.

Solution

KSB onboarded the group onto a per-outlet standing order with outlet-specific delivery notes. Each location receives its own mix: rye sourdough and croissants for the specialty espresso outlets, signature pastries and Sor Hei buns for the heritage-café location. No pork, no lard across the board — one supplier, every outlet, no dietary exceptions needed.

Result

Over two months of operation, the group placed orders across all five outlets at a combined weekly cadence of 3 deliveries per outlet. The Heeren location alone logged 66 fulfilled orders — the bakery's highest-volume single B2B account. The group has since referred two additional F&B operators to KSB's wholesale programme.

Feeding a 300-Pax Office Weekly Without the Logistics Headache

Challenge

A corporate catering operation supplying a 300-person CBD office needed a reliable artisan bakery to cover their Monday all-hands breakfast and quarterly client events. The constraint: the venue's pantry required halal-friendly products due to a mixed-faith workforce, and the internal team had no bandwidth to manage multiple supplier relationships.

Solution

KSB's standing order programme consolidated the supply into a single Monday morning delivery: a fixed core order of sourdough loaves and croissants, with a floating pastry component agreed every Thursday. The no-pork, no-lard certification resolved the dietary requirement without requiring a separate halal-certified supplier. WhatsApp coordination kept lead times tight.

Result

The Robinson Road outlet account has run 57 consecutive fulfilled orders since April 2026 — zero missed deliveries. The catering team extended their agreement to cover a company-wide Q3 offsite event for 180 pax, adding a bespoke pastry assortment and beverages dispenser to the scope.
