Artisan Bakery Catering in Singapore: Corporate Platters, Kueh, and Sourdough for Your Next Event

Published 29 May 2026 · Keong Saik Bakery

Corporate catering in Singapore has a ceiling problem. Most offices cycle through the same mass-produced sandwiches, supermarket cookies, and limp pastries from the same three caterers. The food is safe, unremarkable, and forgotten by the time the meeting ends.

Artisan bakery catering is the alternative. Fresh from a real kitchen, baked the same morning, with recognisable ingredients and no shortcuts.

Keong Saik Bakery provides full-service artisan catering from our Bendemeer flagship kitchen. No pork. No lard. Island-wide delivery.

What Is Artisan Bakery Catering?

Artisan bakery catering means the items on your table were made by hand, in small batches, using quality ingredients — not manufactured in a central factory and thawed on site. For your corporate event, that means croissants with visible lamination, kueh that holds its colour and texture, and sourdough loaves with a real crust.

The difference is tangible. Guests notice when the food is good. It reflects on the host.

What Keong Saik Bakery Offers

Pastry Platters

Mini croissants (plain, butter, chocolate), financiers, madeleines, and seasonal items. Best for breakfast meetings, welcome events, and board presentations. Served at room temperature, no reheating required.

Kueh Assortments

Traditional kueh including our Sor Hei pastry — named after the ma jies (unmarried Cantonese women) who once lived along Keong Saik Road and were among the first buyers of this pastry. The provenance is real and documentable. A genuinely memorable corporate gift.

Kueh sets are available for team lunches, client appreciation, and festive gifting. Orders from S$80.

Sourdough Platters

Sliced rye sourdough and multigrain loaves with butter and optional spreads. Popular for extended meetings, working lunches, and buffet-style catering where guests graze over time. Sourdough keeps its texture for 3–4 hours after slicing.

Kopi and Teh Dispenser Packages

Pair your food catering with traditional Singapore kopi and teh via our dispenser packages. Available as an add-on to any pastry or kueh order. Consistent temperature, no paper cups to manage, no mess.

No Pork, No Lard — A Kitchen Fact, Not a Filter

Every item produced in our Bendemeer kitchen is no pork, no lard. This is not a dietary option you request at checkout. It is how we operate. There is no cross-contamination risk because the ingredients do not enter the kitchen.

For Singapore corporate events with multi-religion teams — Muslim colleagues, vegetarian staff, clients from varied backgrounds — this simplifies catering significantly. One order covers everyone.

Pricing and Ordering

Artisan catering from Keong Saik Bakery starts at S$10–S$15 per head for mixed pastry and kueh assortments. Sourdough platter add-ons are priced separately from S$28 per loaf (sliced, with butter).

Why Artisan Over Mass-Produced

The case is not complicated. Artisan catering:

  • Tastes better — because the ingredients are better and the process is manual
  • Looks better on the table — because small-batch production doesn't require uniformity over quality
  • Tells a better story — Sor Hei kueh with a heritage provenance is a conversation starter; a supermarket cookie is not
  • Works for everyone — no pork, no lard means one order, no separate dietary tracks
