Journey through time, taste, and tradition at Keong Saik Bakery.

About Keong Saik Bakery

Born on historic Keong Saik Road in June 2017, Keong Saik Bakery blends tradition with innovation, stirring nostalgia with each bite.

The signature Sor Hei pastry, pays homage to the resilient Majies of Keong Saik Road. Sor Hei, or 梳起 in Cantonese, resembles the elegant hair buns Majie's don when they take up the vow of celibacy— an ode to a bygone era.

While the flagship store has moved to Bendemeer Road, our dedication to crafting heritage-infused stories stands firm.

What our customers say

Terence Poh

Love the setting and decoration of their Bendemeer outlet. Ordered the latte with local beans and oat milk, and the standard is consistent with those I had at Chip Bee Gardens and Jewel.
Also ordered a slice of Seashore and it was amazing! Butterfly pea mousse on top and earl grey cheesecake and cookie base at the bottom. Yummy!

We probably ordered $55 worth of food between the three of us and it was delicious! Huge range of selections with interesting combinations of flavours. We did come early Saturday morning and the place was quiet (definitely something I love) and plenty of onsite parking if you drive.

I can’t recommend a particular item as they were all good

Had a breakfast here before visiting Dasher next to this shop. Good breakfast we had there, the way they display is nice, overall service and experience is good.

Ain Zainal

'ordered the mentaiko potato cube, chocolate banana eclair, macadamia nut latte and their otah mac & cheese (not pictured)

seriously, every dish slapped so hard - nothing negative to say about any of them. only wished I had more stomach space so I could devour more of this deliciousness. 120% heading back again.

Excellent cakes, and I love the way they display their pastries on plinths like precious museum artifacts. Definitely elevates the presentation and mystique.

Liked:
- Classic burnt cheesecake. The perfect consistency and balance of sweetness and richness, though the "burnt" part could have been even more caramelised.
- Matcha roll cake. I'm not usually a fan of matcha but the matcha character of the cake was present without being overwhelming.
